Reformer Pilates in Budapest — taught the classical way

The reformer is where most people meet Pilates. At Lineage Pilates Buda it isn't the whole workout — it's the door into the complete classical system, taught hands-on in small groups and one-to-one.

Common questions

What is reformer Pilates?

A reformer is a sliding carriage with springs, straps, and a footbar — the most famous of Joseph Pilates' original apparatus. The springs both support and challenge you: they guide beginners into correct movement and give advanced students resistance to work against.

How is this different from other reformer classes in Budapest?

Most Budapest studios teach contemporary group reformer choreography. We teach the reformer as part of the complete classical system — small groups of up to 7, hands-on correction, and a repertoire that progresses session by session, the way the method was designed.

Do I need experience to join?

No. Start with an intro private — our recommendation — or join a beginner-friendly small group session, and we teach you the apparatus right in class.

Where is the studio?

In Buda, on the Buda side of Budapest. The exact address is revealed when we are ready to launch — waitlist members hear it first.
